Women want to always look their best, and it would be wonderful if they could achieve this with the least amount of effort. Semi-permanent makeup allows you to avoid having to apply, reapply, and remove makeup every day while maintaining a professional appearance. Just picture waking up looking amazing or leaving the shower, the pool, or the gym with confidence that your makeup is still in place.
There are many reasons why people have semi-permanent make-up applied:
- Convenience. Some women have little time for applying cosmetics every day
- Some women have sensitive skin or have allergies to conventional make-up
- Ageing changes; over plucked eye brows, thinning lips or dull eyes
- It’s hard to apply if you have arthritis or painful shaky hands
- Women with vision problems or those who wear glasses or contact lenses
- Women who just have sparse hair growth, or have hair loss due to illness or alopecia
- Those with oily skin who tend to shed make-up easily
Semi-permanent makeup is a cosmetic procedure that involves carefully tattooing semi-permanent pigment into the dermal layer of the skin.
The pigment is:
A natural iron oxide.
It’s hypoallergenic
There are no fragrances, emollients or other added ingredients
Lip Liner and Lip Blush:
A lip liner treatment can enhance, shape, or define the lips and can stop lipstick from smudging.
A color wash over the lip region can attractively highlight your lips, giving them a soft, natural look. In order to contour the pigment into your natural lip color, the lip blush is applied along the lip line to define the shape before moving down and into the lip.
Eyeliner/ Lash Liner:
will produce a result that fits your eye color and complements your natural features. In order to see how the final product will look, the shape is drawn on prior to the procedure. This look can be finished off beautifully with a flick, a clearer, more defined line, or a thin, understated line.
Eyebrows:
Naturally attractive, beautifully shaped eyebrows can draw attention to the eyes and frame the face, adding to its attractiveness. From powdered brows to micro blading to HD brows to simply adding a few hair strokes to fill in brow gaps, different techniques can produce different looks.
Even though it varies from person to person, the results typically last between 3-5 years, though in some cases they may last longer. They also make your features look more defined and look very natural. The pigment on the treated area may initially appear darker than you would have liked, but it will gradually lighten by up to 30% over the course of a few days.
Although there is typically little discomfort, topical anesthetic cream can significantly lessen any slight discomfort and encourage relaxation. Most patients experience nothing during treatment other than a prickly sensation in the area being worked on.
